If I think about it, the root of most of my music collection are from Mp3 samplings that I’ve discovered from music blogs. They’ve been influential to me since I was in high school and without them I would have never been able to bulk up my music library with the delicious indie pop & rock tunes that I have now. I’ve always wanted to start a blog of my own and share my own findings, so that other people can discover and support the artists that I feel need serious recognition. So, that is what you’ll find here. Samplings of really great music from really great bands that have been found in record bins, old mixed tapes, over the speakers at coffee shops, in soundtracks, on the cover of magazines and everywhere else in between.

In addition, I’m using this blog to recognize a club that my friends and I had built called Courage My Love in an online community called Second Life. It is an all indie/alternative club featuring live DJs that play a plethora of mixed tunes from all sorts of genres. I’ll be using this blog to inform readers about the special events that go on in the club and also include set lists, DJ schedules and much more. Second Life and the indie community within it provides a great opportunity to meet and connect with other people who share the same passionate interest in music that you do.
